CEO's Message

Since September 2002, Mahila Sahayogi SACCOS has been initiating Saving and Credit Program for middle and low income families based on the Rural Banking Model pioneered by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Economist and former Chief Adviser of Bangladesh. In line with its mission, the organisation has been promoting programs focused on entrepreneur and skill deployment, health,  education, legal rights and financial literacy to uplift the economic and social status of women in service area of Kathmandu District around 9,000 women shareholders through six contact offices.

Mahila Sahayogi SACCOS is committed to women’s development both economically and socially, following the principles and values of cooperatives. It has been constantly fulfilling the need of its shareholders in the current challenging stage being faced by of cooperative organisations.

Our Board of Directors, sub-committees and staffs are highly concerned to expand service effectively and efficiently for the achievement of the mission and vision of Mahila Sahayogi SACCOS.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to promoters,  shareholders, Board of Directors, concerned authorities and staff team for their continued commitment to developing and promoting this cooperative from its initial stage. I also look forward to have your continuous support, suggestions, guidance and trust for the further improvement of Mahila Sahayogi SACCOS.
